Cohousing ABQ is set to become a vibrant 25-home community, offering a mix of 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom energy-efficient homes within nine structures, including a fully equipped common house. In early 2024, we were engaged as consultants to redesign the project, oversee construction, and secure financing. The project includes a range of community amenities, such as gardens, orchards, children’s play areas, a swimming pool, and more, all within a contemporary Northern New Mexican aesthetic. With groundbreaking planned for fall 2024, the project is nearly 92% pre-sold and will welcome a diverse group of residents, including families with children, multigenerational households, couples, and singles from across the nation and around the world.
